This picture, taken probably in 1918, shows Josephus Daniels on the car in center. The photo is a dark copy, so his face is unclear, however he was the Secretary of the Navy at Mare Island, California. This picture was released from the Mare Island Collection by Mr. Don McPherson in 1970.
