Arlington towers as viewed to the north. They were used for the world longitude operation 1913-1914, as wells as 1926 and 1933 as well as for the general transmission of time signals. These were used for the first time in 1911. The towers were dismantled in 1941. This photo was probably taken around 1920 or 1930.
