This photo was taken in the fall of 1982, and shows the Eggert Clock. The Clock was used as a secondary clock in the chornometer room at the old naval observatory site. It was given to the Bureau of Navigation after several years. It was then returned at a later date. In this photograph, it is pictured sitting in the public works office.
